Two special events in May!

On Thursday night, May 17, we’re heading back to The Brick for our first ever Doc Social! We’ve been talking in our gatherings about the image of God, so we’ll watch a collection of short documentary films that we’ve curated to provoke further reflection on what it looks like when the image of God is expressed in humanity, and what it looks like when it isn’t. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, and you’re welcome to purchase something from the bar. Doors at 7 p.m., films begin at 7:30, and plan to hang out after because we’ll have The Brick for the whole night! No need to RSVP – and we hope to see you there!

We love World Vision and are excited once again to participate in the Global 6k for Water! This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 19. The Global 6k raises funds for clean water for those in areas all over the world who lack this basic need. The 6 kilometers you will walk or run represent the average distance a person might travel to collect water, which is often contaminated, for his or her family. Click here to register ($50 registration) or to find out more information on this annual walk/run that our friend Morgan Murdock is running point on for “Team South Bend.” You’ll join others from the area in this fun yet important cause. If you have any questions, please feel free to emailMorgan.
