Online Living Centered emotional wellness course offered by Onsite
As we have been continuing to look for mental health resources especially while we’re apart, we were thrilled to discover an opportunity from a trusted source, Onsite. Onsite is an organization that provides personal growth and emotional wellness experiences. These experiences typically happen in person, but they have recently launched offerings of some of their most popular experiences in an online format.

“30 Days of Living Centered” will provide daily reflections, videos, and practices for helping you establish the foundation of an emotionally healthy lifestyle. We’re excited to let you know that this 30-day online course is being offered at a major discount to the SBCC community! The typical registration fee is $297, but thanks to some generous donors within our community, the first 75 registrations will be priced at $99. All additional registrations will be discounted to $147.

The experiences Onsite provides come highly recommended by several within our SBCC community. Executive Pastor Matt Graybill recently participated in an in-person Onsite program and had this to say:
“Last year I took a week to focus on my own emotional, mental, and spiritual well being by attending Onsite’s “Living Centered Program.” I had been ‘pulling out the shrapnel’ of past life circumstances, decisions that I had made, and people that had influence on me for quite some time. I felt scared about what I was about to experience, but it became one of the most beautiful and rewarding moments of my life. I started to discover who I am more fully and was equipped with tools, practices, and people to help me continue to grow. The Living Centered Program was not only life changing for me, but it continues to have ripple effects on those around me. Nobody has life all figured out, but everyone can take the necessary steps to understand more of who they are and how to live life in a wholehearted way.”

We will be interviewing some other friends in our community next week to hear about their experiences with Onsite as well. Please plan to join us this Monday (5/18) on Facebook live at 3 p.m. ET for some insights and stories about the help that Onsite has provided for them. We hope you’ll consider participating, regardless of whether you’re feeling at your best, at your worst, or anywhere in-between. And we’d love to share this 30-day experience as a community!

Care Fund update

We asked, and you responded. Our Care Fund, established to help provide support for those adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic within our community, has already allowed us to assist some individuals whose needs were especially acute or urgent. Care funds have also made it possible for us to offer the Onsite 30-day course registrations at a discount for our entire community.

We’re incredibly grateful for how you continue to care for our community and are planning more ways to provide support in the coming weeks and month! If you’d like to contribute to our Care Fund, you can do so by designating your checks to “Care Fund” or selecting “Care Fund” when giving online.

Kids’ curriculum video link
Here are this week’s videos from our Kids’ Ministry curriculum provider!
(In our classrooms, kids 3 years old through Kindergarten watch the First Look videos, and kids in 1st through 5th grades watch the 252 kids videos. There is also a preteen experience that you can take advantage of if you’d like.

In addition to the videos, check out the free Parent Cue App that is aligned with the content in the weekly videos.)
