Last chance for Advent prayer & reflection

Christmas 2020 – Giving toward city initiatives

We’re currently 1/3 of the way to our $75,000 Christmas offering goal for 2020! Here’s a closer look at what your donations will fund in 2021 toward the grace and peace of our city:

Foster care and adoption are not only incredibly meaningful ways to extend the grace and peace we receive to others, supporting those who choose this path is also vital. We’ve encouraged those within our community to consider foster care and adoption, and we don’t want to stop there. With funds from the Christmas 2020 Fund, we will establish a foster care and adoption support fund to assist families with gift cards for preparatory items when receiving placements and respite care cost reimbursement. We’ll also support adoptive families with application fee and home study fee reimbursements, which can total more than $1000.

As many of you have experienced, we’ve created a space for prayer and reflection during this unique Advent season that has been to those within our church community and city. Donations toward the Christmas 2020 Fund will go to help cover the costs of purchasing artwork and prints, creating the open floor space, and guest speaker fees for Scott Erickson.

You can visit our website to make a donation to our Christmas 2020 Fund or mail a check to P.O. Box 1578, South Bend, IN 46634.
