Everyone an Icon series: COMMUNITY

Welcome to the third installment of the weekly reflection and meditation for our current series: Everyone an Icon. We invite you to pause for a few moments this week to reflect on a question and meditate on a passage as they relate to the idea of COMMUNITY.

Reflection: How have I been trying to bear the image of God alone?

Meditation: “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work… The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”  (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 21)

If you want to take this reflection and meditation a step further, consider the following questions:

Where have you seen God in others lately?

Where do you have the hardest time seeing God in others?

How have others helped you see God in yourself?

How could you honor the image of God by honoring others this week?
