Kids’ online teaching resources available

Tools from our kids’ curriculum provider

We miss you! And our kids’ rooms feel especially empty right now. We hope you are all staying safe and healthy. We wanted to let you know of a resource you might want to take advantage of if you are caring for children. In response to church gatherings being canceled all across the country, our SBCC Kids’ video curriculum is being made available online by our curriculum provider. We hope this might provide some consistency in your time at home with your kids!

Here’s a link to this week’s videos:

In our classrooms, kids 3 years old through Kindergarten watch the First Look videos, and kids in 1st through 5th grades watch the 252 kids videos. There is also a preteen experience that you can take advantage of if you’d like.

In addition to the videos, check out the free Parent Cue App that is aligned with the content in the weekly videos. We hope you’ll find it to be a helpful resource for your family.

We will continue to send these resources out weekly via this newsletter (or as they are made available to us) as long as we are not able to gather in person.

Kids Ministry director position

We are in the process of finding a replacement for Stacey Borst, our Director of Kids’ Ministry, who will be leaving her position in mid-April. While we are closely monitoring the trajectory of COVID-19 and its effects on our community’s gatherings and financial position before confirming a hiring timeline, we wanted to make you aware of this opportunity. If you or someone you know is interested in finding out more about or applying for the Director of Kids’ Ministry position, please contact our Executive Pastor, Matt Graybill, at
