Christmas giving 2020 & Christmas Eve kits

Christmas 2020 – Giving toward global initiatives

Our Christmas 2020 Fund giving goal of $75,000 will help us direct financial support toward these three categories: church community, city, and world. Collectively, you have donated more than $24,000 so far!

Our global initiatives this year include financial support toward helping build a network of like-minded churches across the nation and around the world. We often receive messages from those who have connected with SBCC from afar via our podcast or video teachings, or from those who have moved away from the South Bend area, who are looking for a church home closer to where they are. We’d love to both learn from and contribute to these like-minded churches as well as help connect people to a church that shares similar values. To hear a little bit about this emerging church network, take a listen to our friend Mike Goldsworthy’s recent podcast with our lead pastor, Jason Miller, where he tells a bit of our own SBCC story.

We also hope to continue to fund scholarships for future national and international peacemaking pilgrimages, as we’d love to be able to include anyone who wants to learn and grow in this way, with the help of our friends at Telos. If you’d like to learn more about Telos and the work they’re doing toward peacemaking, check out our live stream conversations on Instagram and Facebook with Greg Khalil from Telos or the Telos Group’s Undaunted podcast.

You can visit our website to make a donation to our Christmas 2020 Fund or mail a check to P.O. Box 1578, South Bend, IN 46634.
