Join us in reading “The Color of Compromise” this Lent

Join us in reading The Color of Compromise

Throughout Lent, we are going to allow ourselves to be confronted with some of our personal shadows as well as some of the shadows looming in the world and in the church. We encourage you to purchase and read Jemar Tisby’s The Color of Compromise so we as a community might learn about the shadow of racism in the history of the church as a companion to our personal journey through the Lenten season. Grab your copy before Lent begins on Feb. 17!
Lent prayer & reflection in Studebaker 112
Many of you took advantage of our prayer and reflection hours throughout Advent, and we’re offering a similar opportunity to gather safely for Lent.
Beginning Thursday, Feb. 18, and Sunday, Feb. 21, our Lent practice will feature reflection and prayer, the lighting of candles, and a contactless opportunity to receive communion. Capacity will be limited as needed in order to maintain social distancing and keep our community safe.

Thursdays (beginning Feb. 18) | 5 – 7 p.m.
Sundays (beginning Feb. 21) | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Epiphany: The surprise of finding God in Jesus

It’s week five of our walk through the season of Epiphany! Here’s next week’s reading schedule.

REMINDER: As you read, give yourself permission to be frustrated, encouraged, confused, excited, challenged, bored, and inspired. If you miss a day, you’ve got the weekends to catch up!
