See you this weekend!

Easter Sunday at Four Winds Field

We are so excited to once again come together as a community to celebrate Easter at Four Winds Field this Sunday, April 4 at 11 a.m.! Don’t forget that we’ll have complimentary breakfast tacos from Meek&Melz Curbside Cafe available prior to the gathering. Tacos will be served in the Four Winds picnic garden from 10 to 10:30 a.m., while supplies last. We hope you’ll come and enjoy this time to connect with others in our community! And a special thanks to a generous member of our community who donated funds to cover the cost.
Please remember that masks will be required upon entry but can be removed once seated for eating or participating in the gathering. Parking is free and you can enter through Gate A. Also remember to social distance from other parties at all times to help keep everyone safe and at ease as we resume gathering together!

“The Color of Compromise” Discussion

During Lent, we’ve been reflecting on our own capacity to work against God’s kingdom. We’ve also been reading Jemar Tisby’s “The Color of Compromise” to reflect on the American Church’s complicity in racism as an application of this big idea. As we celebrate Holy Thursday and approach the events of Jesus’ passion, our Lead Pastor Jason Miller sits down for a conversation with Dr. Angela Logan to discuss their experiences reading the book. You can tune in on any podcast platform or view on YouTube or Instagram.

SBCC Kids’ Easter photo scavenger hunt

Here’s an easy way to share the Easter story with your children! You can read from your Bible or get a copy of the Jesus Storybook Bible (available at any gathering) and read from there. You can also have some fun — and make some memories — taking pictures as you go along. Feel free to be as simple or creative as you’d like! Join our SBCC Kids Facebook group to connect with other families around this shared experience.
