Phase 2: registration for gatherings

How to register for Phase 2 gatherings

On Sunday, May 2, we will move to Phase 2 in our plan to resume indoor gatherings at Studebaker 112 with registration required! Each Monday, look for the registration link for Thursday and Sunday gatherings on our website. Please plan to register for the gathering of your choice for both the main/adult gathering as well as our kids’ rooms (available for ages 0-5 years).

As we continue to navigate being together while doing our best to keep everyone safe, pre-registration will help us immensely to know what to expect and to know if we need to plan additional ways to accommodate more people.

We will remain masked and socially distanced in our main gathering areas and have coffee available outdoors between gatherings only. You can hear more about our transition to Phase 2 of resuming in-person gatherings in this video message from our lead pastor, Jason Miller.

If you would like to be a part of helping to resume our indoor gatherings, please take a look at our volunteer opportunities!

Streets learning moment: “The Infinite Race”

We invite you to Studebaker 112 to watch the documentary “The Infinite Race” on Sunday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. We will consider together how to be good neighbors to the world around us, near and far, and join in conversation about learning, celebrating, and helping (or not) cultures that are not our own. Phase 2 protocol (masks, social distancing) required.

If you’d like to attend, please register here.

Looking ahead: Lead pastor sabbatical plan
In the midst of all the urgent work we’ve been doing to come back together for the next phase of our COVID plan, we’ve also been doing some long-term dreaming, and one of those long-term dreams involves care for our lead pastor, Jason. Our board has invited Jason to plan a sabbatical during the summer of 2022, and we’ve made a short video to tell you more about that plan. We’re also applying for a Lilly Endowment grant to help support SBCC while he’s gone and to fund activities that will help Jason experience rest and renewal. We’ll tell you more about Jason’s sabbatical plans beforehand, but we wanted to let you know of this important step in the planning process.
