Foster & adopt fund giving update

Your support for foster care & adoption

Last month, we celebrated national foster care month by highlighting several stories from within our community of those who have stepped in to show love and support for children in the foster care system. You can find those posts on our Instagram feed or Facebook page. If you have any questions about how to jump in or support those participating in foster care, please email Additionally, if you could use financial support or connection to others on a similar journey, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

This past week, we designated all in-person giving toward our own foster & adopt fund to provide financial support toward fees, supplies, and other needs associated with fostering or adopting. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed a total of $2,171.00! These funds were added to the $5,000.00 given and designated from our Christmas Fund in 2020. This fund will also continue to be a regular option for giving contributions by selecting the “Foster & Adopt Fund” through our online giving page.

Masks still required unless fully vaccinated
Just a reminder that with the recent changes in local mask recommendations, masks continue to be required indoors during gatherings unless you are fully vaccinated! Masks are still required in each of our Kids’ Ministry rooms at all times.

Our outdoor coffee service on the west lawn (between the 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday gatherings, weather-permitting) continues to be a great space for connecting, and masks are not required while outdoors.

Registration is still required for Thursday & Sunday gatherings and goes live every Monday on our website. Beginning next week, we will be closing registration for Kids’ Ministry on Thursday evenings in order for our volunteer teams to have time to prepare. Adult/main gathering registration will remain open until we reach capacity. If you forget to register for a Sunday gathering, you can always join us (weather-permitting) on the west lawn where you’ll be able to listen to the gathering without overcrowding our indoor space.

We recognize the changes in masking protocol may be exciting for some and cause anxiety for others, and we are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone attending in person. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out at or catch one of our staffbefore or after a gathering.
