2026 Ireland/Northern Ireland Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage has become an important part of our practice as a church, whether locally here in South Bend, or on long-distance trips to other places. Both local and long-distance pilgrimages help us explore themes of peacemaking and justice, while seeking a spiritual encounter with the ways that God meets us in the real world.

For our next long-distance pilgrimage, we’ll be returning to Ireland and Northern Ireland with our partners at The Telos Group. We will have conversations with local residents and communities with a particular focus on the history of the civil rights movement in the North, the Troubles, the Good Friday Agreement, and the long path to peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland.

We will learn about Irish history, identity, and culture in Dublin, hear from activists and community members in Derry, and engage with educators, entrepreneurs, and faith leaders bridging divides in Belfast and beyond. Our trip will start and end in Dublin (flights in and out of Dublin Airport DUB).  The trip will include some time for deep connection with our sister church in Belfast, Redeemer Central.

The pilgrimage is happening November 9-18. Cost is $2,800 for a double occupancy room plus flights ($TBD), and now’s the time to start considering whether you’d like to be a part of it. If you’d like to learn more, you can listen to a podcast interview about our last Ireland pilgrimage here.

If you’re interested in one of our pilgrimages, either here at home or abroad, fill out this interest form!
