[TEACHING] Blessed are Those Who Mourn

Jason Miller

We’re taking a quick break from our money series. The SBCC family has lost a couple of beloved members through death this week, and so many of us have lost something or someone we cherished over the last few years. Beyond the personal stories of loss, we keep waking up to news like the headlines describing a mass shooting in Monterey Park, CA on Sunday. This weekend we talked about loss, grief, and hope.

CONTENT WARNING: This teaching includes mention of suicide. If you or someone you know are at risk of self-harm, please call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988. If you are in a medical emergency or suicidal crisis and you cannot connect through 988, please call 911.

As always, we encourage you to process the teaching in community. Our team is also available by reaching out to care@southbendcitychurch.com.
