Dr. Angela Logan
We jumped back in with our series on money, as we focused on Money Possibilities. Because we are icons made in the image of God, we are called to be generous, both individually and collectively, because God is generous. But what does generosity look like, and how can we live in the currents of generosity? This week, we reflect on “The 4 Ts” (Time, Talent, Treasure, and Testimony), to learn from Scripture how God shows up in those areas, and how we can challenge ourselves to show up for our city and the world.
This weekend, we got to hear from Dr. Angela Logan. Dr. Logan is an Associate Teaching Professor and the St. Andre Bessette Academic Director of the Master of Nonprofit Administration in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, race, and nonprofit and philanthropic leadership. She is the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and this past week she was recognized as one of the two inaugural recipients of the Notre Dame Black Excellence Faculty Award.
