Summer at SBCC

summer at sbcc

We’re looking forward to hearing from a diversity of voices this summer in our weekly gatherings both from within our community and outside of it. Our teachers for June and July include: David Cramer, Mike Goldsworthy,  Dr. Angela Logan, Sean Palmer, and Ryan Yazel. We’ll also have our summer gathering break (July 3) and go to a South Bend Cubs’ baseball game together (July 10) after our gatherings. Then we’ll gather together at Four Winds Field with an all-SBCC picnic (Aug. 7). More details will follow, but we wanted you to be able to plan accordingly for these special dates as well as what’s coming up in gatherings! Click here for more information on these dates and more.

JUNE 5 – KIDS MOVE INTO THEIR NEW GRADE AND CLASSROOM
JULY 3 – NO GATHERINGS (SABBATH WEEK)
JULY 10 – SB CUBS’ GAME after the 11am gathering
(REGISTRATION COMING SOON)
AUGUST 7 – NO GATHERINGS
(ALL-SBCC PICNIC AT FOUR WINDS FIELD)

The Tribune Project update

We want to keep you updated on our progress with The Tribune Project. Currently we have $1,727,337 pledged with 191 individuals/families participating. We have completed a few important steps toward the purchase of the building, including environmental inspections and the first phases of the loan application process.

While our primary fundraising phase was completed at Easter, there is still time to make a pledge toward The Tribune Project by visiting the link below (You can find out more about the project here). We are so grateful for our community’s collective participation in this process as we move toward purchasing the Tribune printing press building downtown.
